Project 4: Address Geocoding

Geocoding Addresses of Customers Who Performed Home Radon Tests

Objective:
geocode addresses

The above thematic map shows the areas in which there are potentially low, medium and high levels of radon (light red, medium red and dark red, respectively).  The green points are geocoded addresses of homes in which the people did a home radon test.  If a person in this region wants to know what the radon potential is for their address, the Environmental Protection Agency (which stores this information) can call up the address and give them the information quickly.  This is what the yellow triangle symbolizes on the map.  A concerned citizen called the EPA to find out their radon potential for their area, and unfortunately, that address is located in a high radon potential area.
