Project 3: Finding, Retrieving, and Viewing National Map Data

Objective:
to demonstrate the ability to find, download, and view National Map data
for an area of interest in a specialized data viewing
software (dlgv32 Pro - Global Mapper).

Digital Elevation Model (DEM)

This is a DEM of North Minneapolis showing the Mississippi River in blue,
the floodplain in green, and higher elevation areas in orange and red.
 

Digital Line Graph (DLG)

This is a DLG overlay of a boudary file and hydrography file of North Minneapolis.
The blue areas represent water bodies (both lakes and rivers), while green areas represent parks.
